Analisa Dampak Covid-19 Terhadap Pelaku UMKM

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic spreads rapidly among humans and attacks the respiratory system, often through droplets. Policies across countries to prevent the spread of this virus are nearly identical: imposing restrictions on social activities. The greatest impact of Covid-19 has been on the economic sector, both internationally and nationally, even at the local level, such as MSMEs. The impacts of Covid-19 on the MSME sector range from drastically reduced turnover, shortages of goods, and, of course, reduced purchasing power due to activity restrictions, even though the government has declared the normalization of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the problem in this research. The purpose of this research is to analyze the post-COVID-19 impact on MSMEs in East Lombok Regency. This research shows that Covid-19 has had a negative impact on the MSME sector. The implementation of lockdown policies, PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), and PPKM (Restrictions on Community Activities) forced MSMEs to close their activities. Community activities were prohibited. This research shows that Covid-19 has had a negative impact on several MSME sectors due to the lockdown policies, PSBB, and PPKM. Apart from that, people's purchasing power is also very low, besides the supply of raw materials being difficult to obtain.
